You get this idea that writing a book is an easy process. In actuality, it isn’t that easy. It’s a lot like going through pregnancy and labor and then having a newborn to take care of. But similar to having children, having the right partner is everything.
Having Cori as a publisher meant that I had someone who cared about my story, how my story was coming through, and what I was doing with the story. We had a graphic designer with ACP who tailored the cover to be just right for our book. Not just my idea of “just right” but also what the market needed.
